It was an overcast day in Singapore, but cool and pretty. The lanterns and lights hanging from beautiful old and young trees across Dempsey Hill swayed gracefully, there was a relaxed happy air all around. They say, the economy won’t look up any time soon, but this is a time of renewal and spring, a sense of abundance in it that also shan’t be denied. Happy new year.
The new lunar year starts on 8 January 2016 and ends 27 January 2017.
