Why do we call ourselves that? Well, lots of speculation, raised eyebrows, puzzled looks, some smiles and every once in a while a “I like the name!” The reason we chose the name is because it sounded just right. It was about writing, it had strong association, and it would immediately get you thinking. Got us thinking. We took the chance and turned the meaning on its head… look at it another way and it simply means a space for writers.
That’s our logo up there. Alpana Vij, artist and erstwhile art director, designed it for us. Around the central idea of the block, roam words like thoughts through the mind. Writing is always dynamic, moving, a process.
